This page supplements our Privacy Policy and provides additional information for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Your Rights Under CCPA
As a California resident, you have the right to:
- Right to Know — Request what personal information we collect, use, and disclose. Most of your data is stored locally in your browser. Use Export My Data in Settings to download it.
- Right to Delete — Request deletion of your personal information. Use Delete Account in Settings to permanently remove all data (local and cloud), or use Clear Local Data for browser-only deletion.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale — SpamBear does not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties. There is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. The service, pricing, and quality remain the same regardless of your privacy choices.
- Right to Correct — Request correction of inaccurate personal information by contacting us.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive PI — We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CCPA.
We Do Not Sell Personal Information
SpamBear does not sell, share for cross-context behavioral advertising, or otherwise make available your personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
How to Exercise Your Rights
You can exercise most rights directly in the app:
- Export data: Settings > Privacy & Data > Export My Data
- Delete data: Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account
- Disable cloud sync: Settings > Privacy & Data > Cloud Sync
