1. Acceptance
By using SpamBear, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
SpamBear is an email management tool that helps you identify and unsubscribe from unwanted subscription emails. It connects to your Gmail account via Google's OAuth 2.0 and Gmail API.
3. Account & Access
You must have a valid Google account to use SpamBear. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs through it.
4. Free & Pro Tiers
SpamBear offers a free tier with core functionality. SpamBear Pro provides additional features such as cloud sync and advanced analytics. Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use SpamBear for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the Gmail API
- Reverse-engineer or redistribute SpamBear's source code
6. Unsubscribe Disclaimer
SpamBear facilitates unsubscription by using List-Unsubscribe headers and known unsubscribe mechanisms. We cannot guarantee that every unsubscribe request will be honored by the sender. Some senders may take up to 10 business days to process requests per CAN-SPAM regulations.
7. Data & Privacy
Your use of SpamBear is also governed by our Privacy Policy. SpamBear is built local-first and does not store your email content on our servers.
8. Limitation of Liability
SpamBear is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Bear & Eddy LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to SpamBear at our discretion if these terms are violated. You may stop using SpamBear at any time by revoking Google OAuth access and clearing your local data.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in binding arbitration.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SpamBear after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
